GRAVITY’s Indonesia-based subsidiary Gravity Game Link has announced that Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT, the first-ever official Ragnarok Online title with NFT elements, will soon see a global release.

The pre-registration campaign, which started on September 1, will reward players with various in-game items if certain pre-registration stretch goals are met. The rewards for the campaign will be awarded to all players that start the game within two weeks of the global version launch and to all existing players.

“We are very proud to announce that Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT will be officially released globally in the near time. This is the first step for Gravity Game Link to expand our Mobile Game publishing into the Global market. We are very optimistic that Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT will also get a positive response from Ragnarok fans globally,” said the president of Gravity Game Link, Andi Suryanto, as per Business Wire.

The game was first released for Southeast Asian audiences in April and earned a place in the top-grossing Google Play Store games in Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand shortly after its launch. Due to the success of the SEA release, Gravity Game Link decided to bring the game to a global audience in 11 different languages. The languages available for the global version are English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Tagalog, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Vietnamese.

About Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT

As previously mentioned, Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT is an entry in the Ragnarok Online franchise. The original title, launched in 2002, was a critical and commercial success and was deemed a pioneer in the MMORPG genre. The game spawned a sequel and an animated series. The setting for the series is a fantasy world filled with ancient relics, demons and adventure.

Gravity Game Link calls Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT a “time-effective” mobile MMORPG with various quality-of-life features built into the game directly. Players can perform the classic MMORPG grinding for items and resources without constant manual input with the Auto-Play function. Players can also explore the Maze Dungeon, a series of increasingly elaborate and difficult labyrinths that gives out valuable rewards.

As an MMORPG, the game heavily promotes community interaction. Players can form guilds with their friends and other players to build a community that helps each other get stronger. Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT also has a new, innovative “Sharevice” feature where a player’s characters can get stronger by being shared with other players.

Players can also work together in raids to defeat powerful foes and earn valuable items or duel against each other in the PVP mode. The game also features an Auction House where players can buy, sell or trade items and upgrade materials to dive deeper into Maze Dungeons and improve their power in raids and PVP.

Using the INNO platform, ONBUFF Points will be used to integrate blockchain elements into the Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. These blockchain elements allow the game to reward players with both a fun gaming experience and digital financial assets. Players can earn ONBUFF Points through MVP fights, daily quests and achievements, which can be converted into NEWTON tokens. These NEWTON tokens can then be converted into cryptocurrency using blockchain technology.
