Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to release more characters, seven DLCs ahead of launch

Both publisher and developers of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has revealed the game’s DLC featuring some of the fans’ most beloved characters of the franchise prior to the game’s initial release date on April 5.

While the Lego format video games have been around for quite some time, the format has become a fan-favorite from the Lego Star Wars series to Lego Indiana Jones and more.

This time, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s developer TT Games has revealed a long Season Pass filled with planned DLCs releases and character packs from the Mandalorian Season 1, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Classic Characters and Trooper Pack, and more.

DLCs, character packs

Players who purchased the game’s Character Collection edition (Season Pass) will be given access to seven DLCs packs alongside each of its respective characters.

The Mandalorian Season 1, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and the Classic Characters and the Trooper packs are set to be the first pack release. The Mandalorian Season 1 will feature the fan-favorite bounty hunter Din Djarin, Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11, and Kuiil. The Child or Grogu is included in the pack as a non-playable character.

As for the Solo: A Star Wars Story pack includes the younger version of characters from Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian. Complementing the three are Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett, and Enfys Nest.

While the Classic Characters and the Trooper packs is a treasure trove for Star Wars fans as they will add more beloved playable characters such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian.

In addition, the Trooper pack includes various soldiers in the Star Wars universe from the Death Trooper, Incinerator Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper and Mimban Trooper.

Adding to these launch packs are three more additional packs already scheduled for a release date. Starting from the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story pack on April 19 featuring Jyn Erso and K-2SO.

The developer will be launching The Mandalorian Season 2 and the Bad Batch packs on Star Wars Day, which is celebrated every May 4. On Star Wars Day, players will be able to play the franchise’s most famous bounty hunter Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, fan-favorite Mandalorian Bo Katan, Ahsoka Tano, alongside villain notorious warlord Moff Gideon and more.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available for pre-order on digital stores. Players who wish to own all seven packs at once may purchase the game’s Character Collection edition. Moreover, the developer has provided individual purchases on each pack should players want to resort to this option.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will allow players to enjoy, experience, and play the existing parts of the existing nine movies of the Star Wars franchise. Reportedly, the additional parts of the expanding Star Universe will also be included inside the game through DLCs release later.

Releasing on April 5, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
